try to figure out why I am down.
is it something I can do about it?
am I down because I'm lonely and need someone around?
am I down because I am overwhelmed by work that needs done?
and so on.
if it is one of those, I try to focus on that, or call in my freinds to help me with it.
if I can't figure out the problem, or likely cause,
I try to distract myself with funny things
I have a collection of funny and cool videos and songs on the computer,
I will watch them, and listen,
sometimes that helps.
sometimes I take a nap, or get a sweet treat.
but sometimes none of it helps.
I give myself some time,
I will hide if I need to ( in a lone room, in the closet)
and let it go for a little.

well, i usually go for a walk or play with my kids. here lately, i've been working on forgiving anyone who ever did me wrong, since i know that that's the reason i'm depressed. or i just have a good cry. that seems to help a lot. my next step is to go to the doctor and see if i can get put back on my antidepressants. hope this helps! good luck to you!

Try to get some exercise, talk to a friend(s), get out of the house, or read a good book, watch a funny movie or TV show, and most importantly pray.

Put on music you like and dance a little, even looking in the mirror and smiling helps...sometimes you can trick yourself. I have dealt with depression for a while, it's tough. Good luck and keep your chin up. : )

Suppose of the entire things you love about those shows and writing your own television exhibit. Write up some scripts, forged your acquaintances, and make a particularly cool episodic show you can put on your own web website online. Make it a show that comprises the whole thing you adore about those historic shows.

Sometimes I read a book, or get on the internet and just look at stupid stuff like, thesuperficial.com- that normally has at least one stupid thing on it to make me chuckle and realize that celebs are not so bright...
Pets really help too, I play with my cat and that gets my mind off of my stresses.
