Im of an average build, but my bust is slightly larger (DD)...I feel uncomfortable talking to men because I feel that the first thing they notice about me is my bust: even though my dress sense is very non-slu*ty and I keep that part completely covered up
Are there any illusions I can create with clothes (any particular patterns or t-shirt styles) so that my bust looks smaller than it is? Im really afraid of going under the knife, because Im against plastic surgery...but this IS about my self-image and confidence

With men...even if you had the tiniest breasts, they would stare...I think you need to change just the way you are viewing this, its something that is part of you. You should be proud of your size and not care whether or not guys stare...
Sure since it is significant, and in their face they will notice it, but they will only continue staring at the them if they have nothing else going on in their mind, and i doubt you would want someone like that anyway.
Accept yourself the way you are, just like people will always have an opinion about everything, people will also stare...it is your response to them staring that will have an affect on you.
No matter what patterns and t-shirt styles "shape" your breasts, they will still be there and you will still be worried about it.
Change your opinion about your body and the way guys approach...you will be a lot happier :)

Ok so you don't like what you have been blessed with. I know I have the same problem. I am in a (DDD) so I know how it goes. But I have learned to love what I have and yes men go bug eyed when they see them coming. Its like that's all they have on the brain. But I have learn to love they way they look and I don't dress in a sluttish way. I add flare and style to outline with my bust so that I actually get eye contact(which is very rare for us big busted ladies ever). Just don't fret about going under the knife unless its a serious health problem such as there so big that they give you major back, neck and shoulder problems. I already have a few minor aches and pains from them and you can't sleep on your tummy comfortably but those are my only complaints. Rediscover your body and you will learn to love what a woman's body can control over a man. They want to eye and goggle over our bodies well use it. Get the better of a man while your at it and they'll never know what hit em.

shirts with higher necklines are good and try to make sure the shirts you have cling to you. Not saying they should be snug. But There are girls with larger busts who have trouble finding a good shirt size and it shows off belly or the shirt ends up having a weird loose effect. A sports bra is good in conjunction with that. The second best would be a bra with full coverage and noooo padding!!
And my dear, a guy is going to stare at something, regardless. I get attention for my butt all the time and it can be uncomfortable. But why care? Ppl go through surgery to get what you have. Ppl will actually get themselves cut up to have what you're upset about. Because even if you find the best parlor trick to hide them, you're going to be self-conscious about them regardless, even if a guy really isn't looking. When you realize "yep, they're there and I'm a happy sexy girl and could care less what anyone thinks" then you get less self-conscious. Best of luck to ya girl ^_^

I checked with my boyfriend. Regardless of what you do, guys tend to look at the bust first and then keep looking back if there isn't anything else to look at. So, give them something to look at. Make sure your make-up and hair are pleasant to look at. Keep eye contact with them so they will want to look at your face.
You can minimize what they have to look at when they see your bust by wearing suit jackets or blazers that hang past your waist (a bonus is that you will look very professional). Necklines that include turtle necks and boat necks are helpful. You should avoid bangle type necklaces, clingy fabrics and anything that is "form fit". Bold patterns and colors should be avoided. Make sure you get a good fit on your bra as well. Bras are only designed to last for about a year or so (depending on how you wash or care for it). There are also minimizer bras available.
Whatever you do, wear the correct size clothing. You may be tempted to wear a bigger size than you are as a method of concealing your bust, but all that does is make you look frumpy.
I used to work at Dillard's department store and learned a lot from the ladies there about fashion, form and fit.

hey, ok im 13 and my friend also 13 wears a 36DD i don't know how u feel cus ur not the same people but i understand, it should be annoying and frustrating...hmm...um u cud wear dark colours they're suppose to minimize things, colours like black etc. also u could bring the attention to another part of your body, your face, your skirt your jeans u know bring the attention elsewhere. But i think that u should take it into consideration that everyone has sumthin wow about them physicaly, intellectually and psycologically....if i saw a boy with beautiful eyes that would be something that attracts me to him, for a few minutes, when i get to know him better and find out what he's like and admire his other 'wows' il know he's more than just beautiful eyes, so dont be too bothered, when that guy gets to know u better you'll be more than enormous boobs.hope i help. Good luck

You need to LOVE your bust. Make the most of it and without accentuating it put your head up shoulders back adn you will immediately notice you have a little more self confidence. I have always had DD and when it wasn't fashionable. But I learned a long time ago that you need to make the most of your assets. Be proud of what nature gave you. If you look confident men will not ogle. They may make admiring glances but you need to just be proud.

Oh wow, I hate that men make us feel that we shouldn't "show off the girls"!! I am sorry that your cup size makes you feel self-conscious. Wrap shirts help and accentuate the bust line. You know, the ones that criss-cross and tie on the side? They work really well.
But, as I realize your feelings about it, large breasts are nothing to be ashamed of. Ever since I've been "embracing my DDs", my confidence exudes outward and men know not to "go there" with me. Its all about what you're projecting.
Good Luck!

first thing you need to know & get used to is men are looking at your chest. they like boobs & it's difficult for them not to look. i have met men who have learned to look without being so noticeable, but they are rare.
next, learn to love your looks. i have the same problem you do (although, i bet i'm A LOT older) & at some point you just have to decide there is nothing wrong with the way you look. also, be flattered that men are interested/looking (i didn't say ogleing, that's just insulting)
o.k. enough of the pep talk (i do mean it, though). stay away from horizontal stripes. that one is obvious. also, stay away from bright colors on the top for example white, yellow, lime green, orange. wear the darker browns, navy blue, black on top & save the brights for pants & skirts.

only because you want anime and video games it would not advise you're a 'nerd', anyhow being a 'nerd' isn't a foul element. And who cares what they imagine, only because you're girly and they anticipate you to be diverse? you're who you're, you want what you want. only flow in there and purchase it, sense proud to love something as large as anime. i'm particular they received't make relaxing of you, in the experience that they do...then they heavily favor to get a existence, and hasn't anybody performed video games once of their lives? also, human beings contained in the shop only isn't waiting to guage you, as they are fairly a lot on the shop for an identical reason as you...and also you shouldn't difficulty a lot as no man or woman you recognize will probable see you besides. if you're somewhat anxious about it, take a pal with you. i have been in a lot of manga/anime and on line sport shops in my existence...also a lady, and trust me, I wasn't the only one...don't be so self wide conscious, try no longer to imagine about it! ;)

You can wear darker colors whenever you feel like you will be in a difficult position but that is only a temporary fix. You will have to find bras that kind of suck your boobies in but most of all you will have to start embracing them. like you already stated you are against going under the knife so those double D's are not going anywhere. love them because they are rare and many girls will kill for big natural boobs. i have big natural breasts and i always try to accentuate them not because of the attention but because of the way they make me feel.
