It's called a double standard and to explain it is simply this: That's just the way it is. One of man's primary purposes in the stone age was to father children. Now, that's not the case, but it still is accepted for men to sleep around and it's not considered the same for women to sleep around. Women that sleep around are usually labeled as sluts or other names. For men there are no such names.

From an evolutionary standpoint, it's because that men can inseminate many females, but a female can only be inseminated once.

i dont think it is ok for men. i have slept with a lot of women and when i meet a women and that topic comes up a lot of them cant handle the number and the relationship ends so i think it works both ways.

It's not OK. But since males dominate and have the need to prove their manliness to each other, they lie & tell each other they have slept with women they haven't slept with.... Sleep with whomever you want to sleep with honey.....

because the way society is based they make it look that if a guy can get all o the hott girls then he is "THE MAN" so guys aim to get as many girls as they can but with girls they show them as sluts or whores if they do the same thing it is the way everything displays it music television society movies everything displays it that way
