Best cordless phone for reception & volume for both parties?

Need a cordless phone with answering machine that has great reception for both parties. Water resistant would also be nice, but not necessary.

Uniden and Panasonic are made by the same manufacturer...I love my Uniden 1868P got it for free with my VoIP provider...

My Phones are V-Tech .. great Phones , also found at walmart for a GOOD price !

Panasoic phones are really good. Get a 5.8 version it is the best you can get.
