religiosity coincides with stupidity.

if americans are more stupid than other countries (we did elect Dumbya Bush twice, so there's one clue!) -- then, we are lkely more religious, too.

Saudi Arabia is the most religious country I've been to.

People stop on the street, jump out of their cars and kneel in the dirt to pray five times a day.

Christians like to mouth off about being religious, but those Saudis know how to put on a good show.

Christians seem to think speeding through red lights in their gas guzzling SUV's on their way to church is a demonstration of faith.

Religious, yes. Dedicated to the cause, doubt it.
The Muslims pray many times daily. Why? They believe in their hearts. As a nation founded on Godly principles, shouldn't we as a nation be that dedicated also? It is too easy to say you are a religious person. Put the talk in motion and see what comes from it.

You need to travel more. When I was in the Middle East...they are a heck of alot more religious that the USA! The cities shut down every day for prayer...every facet of society is planned around their religion.

At least we have the freedom to choose here.

It hasn't always been that way. I'm shocked at the resurgence of the radical right, neo-con born again creationist mentality that has crept into our social fabric like an insidious disease.
And we are NOT a christian nation...dumbass!

It's the rise of the radical Christian Right. It is made a mockery of by Europeans--at least those that I've talked to. ;p
