So, I watched this documentary on tlc channel about kids born with both sex organs or a mutated fusion of both. The scientists & Dr.'s were stumped as to which sex they were. There are also adults with this condtion and docotors still can't definately prove the sex of the person.
QUESTION for the christians:
1. If they pick a husband OR wife, are they commiting homosexuality?
2. If they want to be a christian, how do they know whether to pick a male or female for a husband/wife, if they don't know what their own sex is?
3. Do you find it odd that god would create such a person and then make it impossible for them to know if they are commiting the sin of homosexuality?

Excellent question, too bad you got answers like this

What matters is the faith we would have in God through Christ. If those people were to never get married, and stay completly celebate, would they be then sinless? No. Trust in the Lord, that is Christianity.

None of my buisness what they do. If they want to worship God, they are my brother or my sister, whatever they want to be.

God made Adam, and breathed into Adam a living soul. Sin entered in, and ruined many things. One of those things is variations in the way people are born. If they trust in God through Jesus Christ, they are saved.
It's too simple for most people to accept, but there it is.

As far as their sexuality, this would depend on the dominant hormone. While they have both sexual organs, only one will be fully functional after puberty. As far as God creating this problem, we all have a defect in our DNA, that is why we have babies born deformed. Of course our standard response in the Christian community is that God has a purpose for everyone, which is why I don't follow religion, I follow Christ. But, this question is truly interesting, there is so much about God that Christianity cannot explain. All I can say about what choice they make in a marital situation being homosexual or not, that's a tough one and I could only hope that their minds aren't confused about their own sexuality when they make that choice.

I am a Christian because I am a redeemed sinner.
I will answer your questions the best that I can.
1. No/Yes. We are all born with a sinful nature and that is why we all have natural tendencies to be adulators, murders, liers, homosexuals, thief's and etc.
2. The requirement for becoming a Christian, is acceptance of Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. Not anything that you can do or not do. It is what Jesus did that saves you.
I have heard that when this is the case, they let the child's actions determine which sex they are. When they get a little older, the doctors can repair the deformity. A female would have female tendencies and a male, male tendency's.
3. I do not find it odd that God would allow this to happen. Just the same as I do not find it odd that someone would be born deaf or blind. This is not Heaven.
Because of Adam and Eve's disobedience to God, we are born with a disobedient and sinful nature. That is why God provided a means of forgiveness and salvation for us.
He sent His son Jesus Christ to the earth as the only man with no sin. He became the sacrifice for all of those who believe in Him, repent (turn away from) of our sin, and accept Him as their Lord and Savior. Jesus is the only way for forgiveness and our only way back to God.

You could also ask why people are born with any type of deformity. I'm not God so I can't answer your question. We aren't meant to understand the universe and everything in it, and why would anyone want too. With great wisdom comes great power and with great power comes great responsibility. Unless you yourself are a person possessing both male and female sex organs, why do you need to know? If we believe in Jesus Christ and ask God a question He will give us the answer we need. Not always the answer we want.
I guess you should be asking God this question instead of mere mortal man.

That is never the plan of God ! Sad enough that child would never be normal and sexuality would be the last thing to worry about. People who are physically normal have a choice to make according to Gods perfect will.

That's creepy and is a genetic fault of the devil!!!
I think that those with both sex organs should decide what they want to be!! I'm sure since as a child they either would want to play with dolls or trucks. Then as a teen did they get boobs or facial hair?
They should have a sexual preference, attracted to men or women and should stick with one preference only!!!
They would need to pick one sex and try to get the extra sex organ removed!!

Weird question but if God created them that way then they are perfect. IT would not matter which they chose as they are both. So no it would not be homosexuality. God gave us free will to chose what we want the important thing is that if they think they acted wrong in life to get forgiveness for what they did.

They would just do a chromosome test and be able to actually tell the sex. Why do you think they do that in female sports. They can find out what the real sex is on the inside and not just judge by what is on the outside.
