why there should no criteria of educational qualification for politician.r they not serving our country

This is our constitutional fault, constitutional modification is a very essential one for time to time, when this kind of questions rise from the public, compulsory constitution should be modify, but our politicians only do this work, but they are only do on his own welfare, so this kind of situation, no remedied for this issue.

Hey Sachin. This is a necessary evil in our country. At the time that the constitution was formed, there were hardly any politicians who were degree holders, but well educated and heros in the truest sense.
I cant even begin to imagine the time it would take to modify the constitution! im sure 95% would oppose it anyways!!
The way the candidates win elections is not thru educated or honest votes. They get what's called RAGI VOTE, meaning the politicians/***holes tour rural India & promise the janata a few kgs of ragi/rice for their vote. Well, you decide, if you were a rural farmer with heavy debts, would you not grab the offer?

In India, we follow Adult Franchise system, i.e. all adults are entitled to a vote in the Election. The word "Politician" does not find a place in our Indian Constitution, but the word symbolises the group of persons who practise politics. It is like an avocation, and it does not require any educational qualification. Any person can be in politics, and if he is in core politics, he gets minister ship even when he loses in election. It is because the ruling party core politicians share power whether they win or lose.

Political leadership is only profession where no educational qualification is required. Muscle and money power are only requisition to become a successful leader in the country. on account of need of the party, such leader can become minister, even though people reject them.
