It is sad but true. Some People do think that way. I think that you should go to or join a church only by the urging of the holy sprit. The lord leads you to where you are to be. That is why you have to totaly give your life to crist so you can know what to do and where to go. The Lord could lead you to vist a church just to give a word to someone there. And then he could lead you to join a church to do a great work there. So no matter what you must be lead.

Every day I want to be in my church, for my church is the earth and sky. I want to be mindful of the wild places, to honour the mountains, to bask in the sanctity of life beneath such incredibly starry skies. That's all the religion any of us really need and far better than anything Man has invented to worship.

Sounds like a whole lot of confusion to me.

It is recorded that Jesus promised HIS church. If you don't accept that he established a church, that's your choice.

He promised that to all those who would accept it. And by obeying what it takes for HIM to ADD you too HIS church (hear, believe, repent, confess, be baptized), you are saved.

I believe.................if you're not in His church, you're not one of His. In the end, you suffer the consequences. That's just a basic fact of the gospel.

One can believe that or not. We all have that (God given) freewill.

It's up to every individual to find His church. There are MANY disguises, but His is unique.

If one accepts that as fact, it's up to that person to find out what "His church" is.

The problem today is, there are alot of man-made churches with likenesses to His church, BUT NOT HIS. They can't possible ALL be his; by definition of the very gospel itself ( They are in conflict and strife with each other).

THANK YOUR FELLOW MAN FOR THAT.

p.s. just commenting on some of the answers to you:

You can't "join" the Lord's church. If, you are "joining" a church, you're "joining" a man-made church. If you obey His gospel, He will "add" you to '"His" church. And, if you continue in the faith, He will keep you. No MAN can give or take away.

All "churches" are not equal(the same). Even by THEIR OWN admitting!

Peace

Well the church is suppose to be the bride of Christ. Those that believe on Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. Not some building or organization created by man.

yes some believe anything and what Church I go to is my business as no Church is better than another. the basic difference in any Church and another are the Rituals and Ceremonies performed in each. the basic message is all the same.

You don't have a church. The church belongs to Christ.
Revelations22:17
And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever, will let him take the water of life freely.

the definition of hell is 'away' or the outer reaches (usually beyond a fellowship or community)

going to hell is what we all do every day, we divide ourselves and tell each other we are the only right people and everyone else is wrong

just like life insurances.....only payable or proveable upon your death

what a bunch of bunk
