Good point your Vladship, and it is heart warming to read some of the answers confirming that god is indeed the way, the truth and the light etc.
So perhaps they can clear up a little point. The genealogy of Jesus. Two gospels give a long a detailed genealogy (Despite the fact that St Paul specifically warns Christians to avoid wasting time with such things) Mathew starts with Abraham and works all the way down to Jesus. Luke starts with Jesus and goes back to Adam!
The only name these two lists have in common between Jesus and David is Joseph!
Now, which of these two saints is telling the truth? And which is lying?
One could go on, of course. Is it true that the bat is a bird? God's word says so. Is the value of Pi 3? God's word reckons so. Or which of the two accounts of creation in Genesis is true? They are not compatible, so one has to be a lie!
Etc Etc Ad Nauseum!

He is “the God of truth.” (Ps 31:5) He is faithful in all his dealings. His promises are sure, for he cannot lie. (Nu 23:19; 1Sa 15:29; Ps 89:35; Tit 1:2; Heb 6:17, 18) He judges according to truth, that is, according to the way things really are, and not on the basis of outward appearance. (Ro 2:2; compare Joh 7:24.) Everything that emanates from him is pure and without defect. His judicial decisions, law, commandments, and word are truth. (Ne 9:13; Ps 19:9; 119:142, 151, 160) They are always right and proper, and they stand in opposition to all unrighteousness and error.

You are putting the "if" in the wrong place. The awesome uncreated Creator of the universe is the Source of Truth. There are no "ifs" about it, not even one.
IF you are sincerely interested in learning about Truth then you will draw near to Him, read His Word and invite Him to be your LORD and Savior.
IF you haven't ever done so before I suggest a Bible like The Daily Walk Bible because it helps the reader to read the entire Scripture in one year and it gives explanatory material for each day's reading.

There is no truth as god never spoke.
All we know is that a few men 2000 or so years ago wrote a book and claimed to have heard god. For some reason people believe it. Faith itself is not in a god but in the words of other humans. When it comes to god there is no truth.

He is the One way to peace that passes understanding.
His truth is our strength and our shield.
We come to the knowledge of the truth, which IS the Lord, our God. Everything good IS God.
Got it?

well... what it means is that everything is a perception.... the things we consider as facts (truths) ..... if you look at something from one point it will look a particular way ..... if you travel to someother point and look at the same thing, it would look different. Quantum physics also talks about the same thing.... an example... we see in 3 dimensions...... so we see that the earth is like a ball..... animals who see in 2 dimensions... would see it as a circle ... no depth...... if you see it in 4 dimensions ....( some scientists have explored it as to how would it look if you could see 4 dimensionally) the earth will not look like a ball... so is what is the truth ? earth is a flat cricle? or its like a ball..... or something else... it all depends on how you look at it....... so there is only one truth and that is God.... rest all are perceptions which keep changing.. with space and time.......just like our perceptions change.

the particular truth that you believe fits your own particular Belief System as long as your Belief System allows everyone the same right to their particular Belief System. this allows everyone to have their freedom of worship by their own free will as long as everyone respects each other rights all will be well.

Well let's look at this: Jesus said "I am the way, the truth and the life, no man comes to the Father, but by me". Simple I think. Quite obvious...for those with ears to hear.
