I asked a question about lust and got some religious folks telling me it was a sin, I said heh I was single. That was better, but still a sin, so can Chrisitans tell me when does lust become a sin?
And how do you guys ever get together and procreate if you don't have a tiny bit of lust?

Generally speaking every red blooded male appreciates a well shaped female form. Yay!!!!! To think other wise is a complete lie. I think that we may enjoy this beauty all that we want.

However, when we get to the point where we start wanting to posses it the enjoyment becomes lust and is destroyed. As males, God has given us a natural indicator or "lust-o-meter" so that we can more easily tell when we need to get a grip on our thoughts, what you are doing with that image in your mind.

I suspect you can guess which part of your anatomy rises, like a gauge, in responce to your lust.

Lust is not love. Love wants to give, lust wants to take, get, posses.

In terms of procreation you can lust after your wife all you want, there isn't a problem thinking you have a beautiful wife you want to get intimate with. But in terms lusting after someone you may or may not know, it becomes sin when that single desire gets in ure heart and becomes your primary motive to engage with the other person. And I think you have enuf sense to know when you've crossed the line.

Lust is the feeling or act of using someone else to satisfy your own desires. It doesn't consider the object of lust or their needs. It is only concerned with it's own, selfish needs.

Lust can be satisfied by almost anything and the boundaries of our perversion do not know any limit.

Love, on the other hand, is patient, love is kind. It is not jealous, is not pompous, it is not inflated, it is not rude, it does not SEEK ITS OWN INTERESTS, it is not quick-tempered, it does not brood over injury, it does not rejoice over wrongdoing but rejoices with the truth. It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

There is also passion. We have lots of passion.

This is how we "get together and procreate" wi/o the negative side of lust.

Lust is always a sin because it is of the flesh even though it is a natural emotion. You only need to ask yourself when YOU think it is a sin and that's your answer.

lust is a sin when you follow up on it, a thought cant send you to hell what you do can.thinking it is better than putting it to action in some cases . You have only a few Minuit's to recant what you think in your mind before it is used against you.because if you don't recant it is a sin because you let it ponder in your mind until the devil pick up on it and make you do what your mind say soooo.......when you have that lust thought say very Quickly GOD forgive me in Jesus name, Amen........................CW

Jesus said, "You have heard that the law of Moses says, 'Do not commit adultery.' But I say, anyone who even looks at a woman with lust in his eye has already committed adultery with her in his heart."

Adultery is having sexual relations with someone who isn't your spouse.

Having sexual arousal for your spouse is welcomed in a marriage.
