Wow now that's a new one. I believe without a doubt that these were two of the hardest punchers in boxing history. Max had a really bad habit of clowning too much and Marciano was always fiercly determined to win like no fighter that ever stepped into the ring and could take a punch too. Baer would land some good punches but would be forced to retreat against the hard charging and relentless Marciano who would land hard punches to the body and head. In the end the man who refused to lose would prevail by knockout in the 6th round of a brutal fight.

Marciano might have been able to beat any fighter, any era, but we could never really know. As for Max Baer, he was a fine Jethro Bodine.
