For the rest of your life, you will find people attractive physically, whether you are with someone or not. Which is more important, someone you are attracted to physically (which is everywhere) or someone that you are attracted to emotionally (which is extremely diffuicult to find)?

Would you prefer a "hot" guy who can have anyone he wants and behaves accordingly (flirting, cheating, selfishness) or a "not-so-hot" guy who will treat you like a human being rather than a posession?

It took me alot of years to realize that the less attractive someone is, the more focused they are on keeping you happy. Somone who can have anyone they want doesn't care how they treat you; if you leave, they'll just find someone else.

If you are not attracted to him at all--either physically or emotionally--then just tell him that and apologize, then expalin that you cannot control how you feel, and would still like to be friends.

Otherwise, give the poor kid a chance, I PROMISE you will be surprised at how happy you can be with someone that is not "physically attractive"; I am doing it now for the first time ever, and we have been together 4 years and will be getting married this summer. Of all the gorgeous girls I have ever been with, nobody ever made me feel as appreciated, wanted, and needed as her. I say go for it!!!

Go with your gut instinct. Its there no matter what your age. If you think perhaps maybe I will then go just to see, If you're still undecided but aring on the side of caution, dont go.

If you are just curious leave it a while before deciding maybe it would be better to suggest another time. Looks aren't everything.

Be honest. If you like him and are just after some fun then tell him. Blokes are able to deal with anything if you're honest. If that's not for him apologise and take it from there. You're young, and maybe so is he. There is nothing wrong with enjoying another person's company. Be responsible but have fun. Be open and he'll always know where he stands with you.

Yes, but keep it casual. You never know, some guys impress you on dates and you might change your opinion, anyway you are only 17, go out and have a great time ;)

At 17, you have to learn to be assertive. You are so close to being forced to make life decisions for yourself, so grow a pair and nicely let this guy down.

You should be honest with that person just say i don't see us in that light but I like being friends, and like hanging out with you but if you can't handle that I understand but remember honesty is always the best route.

I think that you are a bit inmature because I use to think the same but as you get older you are only going to look in how that person is in the inside,,,,you still have allot to learn,,,,,

Say no and maybe say, I'm just not ready for a relationship right now or I have too much going on right now to be invloved with someone or say your parents don't want you to. Hope that helps! :)

sometimes when we go out with someone we don't really think of as attractive, we can find that the persons inner beauty is far more beautiful....if you decide to say no..... say no and don't feel bad about it.....it simply wasn't meant to be.
