You should expect a parent that wants to protect you. You are NOT an adult, and clearly you do not think like an adult. You cannot elope, you cannot travel with this child molester.

If you do leave with this statutory rapist, and he takes you across state lines, I pray that the authorities catch him. For at that point, it is not just statutory rape, it is kidnapping and across state lines it is federal. Hopefully then he experiences the other side of rape in federal prison. Child molesters get their just desserts in prison.

You should expect a lifetime of trouble. You are not old enough to be doing this. You have a lot of growing up to do yet and eloping will not be in your best interest. Your mother may be racist or she may realize things about life that you're not aware of yet or that you don't care about while your hormones are raging. Inter-racial relationships have extra problems to deal with because the issue isn't color, the issue is culture. If you are really in love it will last and you can get married in three or four years. I think you sound extremely immature. You'd better listen to your mother!!

Honey, I recall your posts about your mom protecting you and the chance to file statutory rape charges agains a 24 yr old man, who should know better than messing with the feelings of a child your age.

Don't run away. If you do, please walk to your nearest hospital and ask for counseling. Contact your department of social services for help with counseling too.

Running away will only endanger you more, and your mama is only trying to protect you from the danger she foresees.

I don't believe that your mother is a racist. You are much to young to marry. Our daughter married at age 15 and it was a disaster, her husband abused her and did not support her and her children.
Her entire life has been ruined, she had no education to speak off, we wanted her to attend College. Her husband finally landed in jail for burglary, our entire family has been affected by this. Our daughter paid a huge price for not listening to us, she ran away too and then become pregnant and my husband gave her permission to marry against my advise. Please think long and hard before you ruin your entire life and future. Running away would be the ultimate betrayal of your family and yourself. Be good to yourself, think long and hard before you do anything. Think in the long term. I wish you the Best.

Expect to not be allowed to move unless you're married to a person who lives in the country you want to move to and/or you have a college education or some kind of marketable skill

Your still young and have plently of time to get married when your older. Don't grow up any faster than you have to. Marriage is a big responsibility wait a few years and if you still feel the same then get married.

Here is what to expect, if your husband is over 18, for him to go to jail, you to go to juvie, for you to lose all your privleges from your Mom. You will get caught, there is NO doubt about it. So think before you do anything stupid!
