Why do you listen to people who want to control every aspect of your life?
There is no such thing as sin. Especially not the kind your talking about. Lusting after pretty girls is a natural thing to do for any male, without the desire to have sex our species would have become extinct long ago.
Murder and rape and starting wars are moral crimes against humanity and you can call those things sins if you want but only because no social animal would condone that behavior .

Jude V-17
But, beloved, remember ye the words which were spoken before of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ;
How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts.
These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the spirit.

1 John 2:15
Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.

We are not to lust after anything that will take us away from God, or anything that we put before God. God is a jealous God. He must be first.

Also you can think about women, you just must keep yourself in control and do not put yourself in the position to care more for anyone even if it be your wife than you do God.

It's called a sin because most people have done it without even thinking about it--it's a natural human drive. Make as many people as possible feel guilty, and you've got more people controlled and tithing. We've all seen lust get people in trouble, so it's easy to exaggerate based on that.

Good question. Maybe this will help clarify. I think lusting after someone is different than thinking wow this girl is really cool or interesting. You can't help but be attracted to girls that engage your interest. It is different to lust after beautiful girls JUST for their physical features. Lusting is a sin when you lust after other women when you are married.

Lust is a sin because God defines it as a sin.
The night is almost gone; the day of salvation will soon be here. So don't live in darkness. Get rid of your evil deeds. Shed them like dirty clothes. Clothe yourselves with the armor of right living, as those who live in the light. We should be decent and true in everything we do, so that everyone can approve of our behavior. Don't participate in wild parties and getting drunk, or in adultery and immoral living, or in fighting and jealousy. But let the Lord Jesus Christ take control of you, and don't think of ways to indulge your evil desires. Romans 13:12-14

Lust is not a sin unless you act on it without love. Lust action without love results in children growing up and living without both parents. Children pay the price of adults who do not save their lust for someone they love. But just lust is natural . . . no sin, unless you take advantage of the object of the lust.
Be strong, understand your lust and find someone you lust and love.

Because LUST is the wish the will and the beginning of a huge mistake. A sin. Pre-meditated at that.

Matthew 5:28 says
but I say to you that everyone who looks at a woman with lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart.

Jesus says to take drastic measures to keep from stumbling.

Think of the pattern of sin in the garden of Eden
Eve looked
she desired (lusted after)
she took
she ate

And as Jesus said in Matthew, you've already committed adultery in your heart if you are lusting after someone.

I know it is a hard thing with guys being inundated with sexual images all the time. And it doesn't help when women dress provocatively.

If you a Christian and want to stop lusting here are some suggestions from scripture:(please do your own study of this subject too!)
1 Corinthians 7:9 but if they do not have self control let them marry for it is better to marry than to burn with passion.

Matthew 5:29 If your right eye makes you stumble, tear it out and throw it from you for it is better for you to lose one of the parts of your body than for your whole body to be thrown into hell.

(This means to take drastic measures, not to literally pluck your eye out - put filters on your computer, get rid of porn channels on the TV etc...)

So pray for a godly wife to marry, if you find her, be faithful to her, the marriage bed is the very best place to perfect the "two shall become one" idea!

Hope this helps!

It's only a sin when you believe it is a sin.
Some religions have defined lust as sin...so if you believe all what this religion says then...there you go.

I do not believe in books or religions (but I do believe in god). So I can not link sin and lust.

See....it's all in our minds and brains. Someone programs you this way and then you are this way. Unless you reprogram yourselves.
