Square boxes are the easiest to make and round boxes aredifficult to make .Round boxes as such seem to take less area , but they involve more waste of material while making . so square boxes are economical and easy to make quiclky. Packing , handlingand shipping are also easier in the case of square boxes . The business could charge the customer less on accont of the cost of boxes and will make more sales and large profit even withlittle margin. So square boxes are advantageous to trade and the cusomters too.

It's harder and more time consuming to make a round box. Sqaure boxes are also easier to manage...

because it would be quite expensive to make round boxes, and they wouldn't be easy to stack stably.

why not make square pizzas then? why not indeed. In Italy, the kind they sell on the street is often square, or at least rectangular (and miles better than anything available in the US ;-)

Because it fit's better. If the box was shape like the pizza, the pizza would be hitting the side of the box. and it will lose it shape. Are called the Pizza inc and asked them, and you will get the answer your looking for. Good luck
