DO PLEASE READ THE ANSWER BELOW SO THAT YOU ARE SUBJECTED TO THE SAME TORTURE THAT I HAD GONE THRU READING YOUR QUESTION..."God is all Powerfull,he posseses all the power of the Universe .
So he probably has the power to Change the laws of Time and stop something from happening in the past, and change our history for ever. Then should not he-
1) Stop Constantine and his Hordes of Slaves from converting the Roman Empire by force?(300 years after christ died Roman Empire fell during this time none of the Romans had converted only their slaves and lower rung Civil servants converted as they had no political say) and see how many people would have converted without force.
2)Stop the Roman Catholic Church from Conquering every European Country and Converting them by force and see how many people would have converted on their own free will.
( I aint Muslim , I know Muslims have consolidated in a similar fashion by force)
In India the Total population in 1970 was 600 million then the percentage of Christian in India was 3%
Right now India has about 300 million Hindus who are of Upper Middle Class None are converting.Right now even the poor and lower middle class(400 million) are not converting on any significant scale. The population of India is over 1 Billion right now and the percentage of Christians is 2.2%
Percentage wise you have decreased though in absolute nos you may have increased in respect to total population .
I don’t know how many people believe that China is converting to Christianity on a rapid scale here cos
In 1990 Chinas percentage of Christians was 2.8 and right now it is 2.5.
So I really wish if God had that Power he should use it and find out how Many people in the World would have
Converted in the 2000 year period ever since your inception till the present day
In my opinion if Constantine was not their you Would have been descendants of a class of Losers(slaves)
And roaming around with your Mumbo Jumbo and no one would be listening even Now. "

We don't have the capability to understand God's plan. A simple analogy is a child receiving a spanking. That child does not understand and often thinks that a parent hates them. They don't understand because they don't have the maturity or wisdom to see that it's in their best ineterest in the long run. They don't see that it hurts the parents deeply to have to do this.
Also, I don't really believe that God intervenes in things like that. If he stepped in for us instead of allowing the world to handle itself, what kind of test would this be?
Third, you obviously have a bit of a bad taste in your mouth for Christianity, and your attitude is a little insulting. But I don't see any Christian here insulting or putting down your lack of belief. Therefore you have basically attacked us who have done nothing to you. Who has done the greater wrong? What belief system will you fall back on when life gets rough? Why do so many atheists cry out to God in their final moments before death? I think you are experiencing anger and bitterness, and that eventually you will find the truth. Don't close your heart to it.

I believe that you are asking why God would not change things on this earth in order to make it a better place, stop letting people force others with their beliefs, and cause people to follow Him because He has the power to do just that.
God sent His only begotten Son, Jesus to tell everyone about His love for us. Jesus suffered and died and then rose again. This is God's message to mankind. This is everything that He had to show us His love and power. He gave it all.
Now it is up to us to decide whether to choose Jesus or not. God does not force anyone to love Him or to become His child. This earth is not Heaven and every man is born with an evil nature because of Adam and Eve's disobedience. Therefore, man has choices and free will to make his own decisions in his heart.

If God would go back in time and change things, then that would make Him a liar because He has given us what is known as free-will. All of your numbers don't matter to God, if people from China and India don' t want to convert, then they have that right.

God has a reason for everything He does. His ways our not our ways, so we should quit trying to question everything he does and just trust him! He has an eternal plan in mind. We should consider ourselves blessed and honored to be part of it, and that he chose us since before the creation of the world! Dont focus on all the bad things that have happened in the past. How about focusing on all the good things that happen in the world?

Jesus and I are close, lets just say more than friends, so I should be able to answer your question. Christianity is a white man's religion so it's not going to be popular other places. In fact, the only reason that it is popular at all is because it was designed to be a sort of thought disease. You get it when you are emotionally vulnerable and then you are required to try to spread it to anyone you can. It's really reflected in the dominant culture of the US (ask the Native Americans). As for time travel, if God is omnipresent and omnipotent then there is no need to go back in time and change a mistake, like creating the human race in the first place.

God is not going to stop every bad thing from happening..He gave us free will for a reason, It's us that causes bad things to happen. We have to learn from mistakes, not let history repeat itself, and ask God's forgiveness. I agree that its not your place to judge God's system of doing things. And he will stop it all...when he comes back to take his followers with him to paradise and then destroys the world by fire.....
I also have to say that I agree with Oh Betty...and I do not mean this as a blanket statement, but SOME atheists that I have dealt with are just as bad about forcing their beleifs on me as any christian is, and it's the very thing they complain about the most. Is it that these people want religious freedom, or religious freedom as long as it agrees with them?

man you really hate christians don't you? you must be one of the pack of angry atheists, agnostics, humanist, etc, etc. horde that roams the boards trying to convert others to your beliefs as you attack others for the same thing ! ironic isn't it? why not believe the way you want and let other choose to believe what they want...isn't that what you say you're proposing? otherwise you sound like a mindless bigoted member of the religious police.
