Yip if the other parent is A +

Because both are rhesus + there should not be a rhesus problemn but the baby could suffer from jaundus and need phototherapy as a result

THis is because when the baby is in the womb it receiced the mum blood supply but once born and the cord is cut it starts to produce its own blood If this is A+ it recognise the O+ blood as an alien component of its system and they blood supplys sort of fight it out and try to get rid of the other one

This can result in a high bibrubin content which at low levels causes no worries but at high levels is very serious

Bilirubin is broke down by light or phototherapy
