God to me isn't a person. I believe in a rational definition of God. I feel that God is an oversimplification for the laws of science and in a pantheistic sense is existance as a whole.

Let me elaborate. I feel that just as electrons, neutrons, and protons form atoms. Atoms form mollecules. Mollecules form compunds... further down: Cells form tissues, tissues form organs, organs form systems, now you have a living being. All the elemnts of life I feel are dependent and independent of each other. I believe every action causes a reaction. Ultimately everything as a whole is existance and it is somewhat in control of itself.

The crucial question is what are the limitations in each individual's own consciousness with regard to what they are and are not able to percieve.

Most people can only percieve through ideas. Even then, some individuals are limited by static and simplistic ideas, others have a more fluid, flexible, and complex apparatus of ideas through which to experience existence. But in either case, if ideas are the medium for perception for a human being, then their relationship to God, so to speak, will be one of "belief". Belief is essentially how someone percieves God when that someone only has access to ideas.

There are several levels of consciousness that allow individuals to percieve the world in ways not mediated through ideas. Mystics, meditation masters, spiritual adepts, etc, are often advanced in this sense. But ordinary individuals occassionally have experiences like this. They will thus experience God not through belief or ideas, but will "percieve" God in the way an average individual percieves something they actually see with your eyes (that is, God will be much more real for them than merely an idea or belief).

I perceive Him as some huge figure to some extent. However, I don't really know what I think He looks like or whatever, to me He is everywhere but always with me. Part of me I would almost say. I would say I perceive Him to be male, but that is probably because I am and also we always write He. Also, if we were made in the image of Him, then perhaps that means that he to some extent has Human characteristics.

He is in control of everything but also allows us free will. He created the laws of science at the dawn of time. I agree with you to the extent that without God it would be impossible for life to exist, of for anything to exist at all.

I believe in a God and Goddess, 2 halfs of one. Because we believe that the universe strives for balance, you cannot have one with out the other. Mother earth, Father sky.

God is a Spirit and Must be worshiped in Spirit and in Truth. God is real because I can feel him down in my Soul. You must be Believe and be Saved to know(percieve) Him. The devil knows the Bible but he does not believe it unto Faith in God and was an enemy of God.

John 4:24 - God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

God Is the Ultimate Reality Of the entire universe.

He Is the Sustainer of us all.

That is why we all, with child-like confidence, call God Father.

God, to me, is a Spirit, not a physical being. He is our Creator and a Fatherly Spirit. The embodiment of love and all that is good.

Infinite love and light. I don't picture God because I don't think we are capable of imagining him, nor could a human concept ever encapsulate his appearance or identity.

Isis is short, with golden brown skin, a round, sweet face, and strong, sturdy arms to hold me in time of need. She cries with me, and gives me strength when I feel none.
