purchase rechargable batteries and a battery charger. I save 2 instruments of the batteries and performance in no way had to purchase any batteries except those. Rechargable batteries very last lengthy too. I recommend that you purchase ones from some reliable variety and with reliable capacity. purchase a charger that may 'renew' or 'refresh' the batteries and also which switches off on its own. i take advantage of Sony 2100 mAh (eco-friendly cycle power) batteries.

I use Energizer rechargeable batteries and the 1 hour charger. I bought a 4 pack so that way I can have 2 in my camera and 2 on the charger.

Rechargeable batteries are the way to go. They cost a little more but in the long run its so worth it.
