Ancient egyptian gods were worshiped by millions. There are ancient scrolls and hieroglyps (which predate christianity and islam by thousands of years) that show this simple fact. The great Pyramids which still stand today, also tell this story through hieroglyphs.
Questions:
Do you think that it would be illogical and irrational to ask a person to provide evidence that proves the non-existence of these gods?
Do you think that most normal, intelligent adults can simply use logical deduction to conclude the non-existence of these gods?
(Please note that these are YES or NO questions. Please answer YES or NO before adding details, thank you)

YES it would be illogical, but no more or less than asking the same question of Christians, Jews, Muslims, etc...
ALL gods are (sometimes useful) tools invented by Humankind to help cope with the fact that we have evolved an intellect that is more powerful than our ability to control our environment; Religion (though I don't approve of it, per se) has probably been a useful evolutionary response to this fact, and serves as a "good reason" for a lot of humans not to just "give up" in light of an unfair, unkind & unjust world.

1. YES 2. NO
It's a matter of personal belief. I would never try to tell you that I can prove the existence of any God, even though I do have faith in a Godhead.
Let's keep in mind that the existence of germs couldn't be proven either until certain circumstances came into play with the development of microscopes, theories and other scientific tools of observation. Keep in mind that the planet was believed to have been flat until fairly recently in human history.
I think it's very possibly that the existence of God can be proven, and that maybe his "fingerprints" are left on everything living thing, but we are not advanced enough to see this "proof."
Until we are, I suppose a person can believe in whatever they like. The most imortant thing is that we do not persecture or mistreat others for a difference in beliefs when we cannot prove our own.

Question 1, yes it would be illogical.
Although Christianity is still quite "new" Christianity is simply the promise fulfilled that was given to Adam and Eve.
Christianity is simply a name that we as humans have given to this fulfilled promise.
That being said, the book of Romans in the bible gives a very detailed explanation as to why people in old testament times and even now try to worship "man made Gods" and also try to worship the creation rather than the creator.
If for no other reason than to understand why we believe as we do, you should read it.
Question 2
The answer to that one is sadly Yes. Again the book of Romans in the bible addresses this very topic also.
When humans reject God, they actually ask God to give them over to their own understandings instead of his truth.
When this happens, there is a sliding scale of what their minds think and then believe and sadly it does not get better, it becomes more and more demoralized and more and more self centered.

No. It is not illogical & irrational to ask for evidence that proves that none of the deities of polytheistic religions exist.
Why? Well, as you already pointed out, the ancient Egyptians worshipped millions of deities. So did the ancient Greeks(as everyone knows). There are numerous stories in Greek mythology of the gods doing battle with one another.
Since a god/goddess has unlimited power, neither would win or lose against one another. Both would cancel each other out.
The God Of monotheistic religions Has the Unlimited Power over all Creation. Noone can defeat Him. The Devil constantly tries, & the Devil is constantly defeated, because he does not, nor ever will, have the Power Of te One True God.
That is why the deities of polytheistic religions cannot possibly exist.

1) It is no more illogical or irrational than asking someone to provide evidence that proves the non-existence of any god--including YHWH, Shiva, whatever. It is impossible to conclusively prove a negative logically.
2) No. There are still some people who worship the ancient Egyptian gods (mostly neoPagans). It is equally as likely to me that Isis exists as YHWH.

Yes on one, No on two.
I for one feel humbled by the fact that there is so much about ancient religions that we know so little of, yet they have stood the test of time for so long.
I also think that the story of Jesus rising from the dead is very close to the story of Osiris.
Also in Gilgamesh the character of Utnapishtim was practically plagerized in the story of Noah.
So much of ancient religion has been used and re-used to create the stories in the bible, it's really hard to know what we're reading now.
To refute Osiris and Isis is practically the same thing as refuting Jesus and Mary.

No and No
First ?
No because if you are looking for answers that is a reasonable question
Second?
I think that a lot of people have had experiences that to them prove the existence of some sort of supernatural being. So in there logic they cannot explain the non existence. and there are many things that can not be explained through conventional logic of today.
I'm Pagan for the record

Its now prooved that ancient egypt and greek were connected with oldest Hindu civilization. They were the extensions of Hindu civilizations and name of gods were different just like christ is pronounced differently in different languages.
Yes it is illogical to ask anyone to proove existence of God. Orginial version of egyptian gods are still worshipped by 1 billion Hindus worldover....making Hinduism the oldest religion of humanity. Because they were original and protected vast Hindu scriptures so were protected by God and egypt and greek corrupted message of Vedas so they were punished with replacement. Unlike egyptians are considered polytheists, Hindus are ultimately Monotheists but to outsider who is ignorant about hinduism sometimes look polytheists.
