He may be friendly to a small number of dogs. But he is super agressive to many other dogs especially to bigger size unknown dogs. He socialise often at different parks but some dogs, he just cannot get along with. Usually, he will start to be aggrssive first and if the other dog reacts, he will fight. He has been hurt by one big dog before.

Some breeds are naturally dog aggressive, and this is not something you can really "train" out of them. I suggest you stay away from the dog parks, especially if your dog is in any way shape or form part pit bull....

When you take him for walks, make sure he stays next to you, and not in front of you. Bring along treats, and his favorite toy to "distract" him from lunging at other dogs you may pass.

Please email me at libertydogtraining@yahoo.com so that we may go into more detail about this.

I do not know where you live, but if you are in the US, I recommend that you watch the "Dog Whisperer" or by the book by Cesar Millan "Cesar's Way" for tips on how to handle it. Dog aggression is difficult to correct but can be done with leadership and patience. I own an aggressive dog myself, rescued an abused dog and have been trying to rehabilitate him. It is a slow process but it works if done correctly.
