Why The Hindu wrote an editorial aginst the preventive aspect of Homoeopathy in CHIKUNGUNYA?

Hindu is a newspaper of the intelligent and they wrote what they did because homeopaths whatever may say have no proven effect on any diseases, more so in infective diseases.

I am a practising Oncologist and some of them keep on "treating" a patient with cancer and refer them to us when there are metastases,.. in other wards they kill the patients. some diseases like Diabetes and Hypertension where anyway it is an indolent course the homeopaths give their "treatment" and tell the patient to take walk, Avoid fat, this and that, it is the precautions that help and not their treatment.

i think anyone reading this is intelligent enough to know that what we eat what we drink what becomes of that (we read in school) that food gets converted to carbohydrates and fats and proteins and so on.can any homeopath tellme the biochemical action their medicines have, its not too much to ask at all, in todays world we all want to know how what happens? We even want to know how the oil we use in our cars help its engine and so on, but homeopaths do not know a thing how their medicines work its a patients life we are talking about

Can anyone of these homeopaths tell me what is the pathophysiology behind chikugunya, and how treatment with their drugs happens.

When we talk I want U homeopaths to talk Science and not any nonsense about how some compound will in crease immunity of the body,.. for the people reading this who are not having medical background or are younger Immunity is simply for infections it does not treat anything else,..

The foolish Homeopath above me -Sangam is talking about "proven" benefits of homeopathy against viral....Bullshit!!!!

Viral anyway takes care of itself,.. uneduacated fool thats what homeopaths are,.. I wish it was just that only I think they are CRIMINALS too

Probably because homeopathic medicines have no scientific basis and have never been proved efficacious in scientific tests.
They are a relict from hundreds of years ago. In the USA most homeopathic medicine have no active ingredients and mainly consist of lactose (sugar) solutions. Still people like them... at least they don;t have any negative effects (unless you consider the failure to treat an illness with a real medicine a negative effect). And they do generate pretty good placebo effects in random people at about the expected level for placebo effects.

itis nothing but dengue fever inheriting different names at different times. there is no medicine in Allopathy and mediicine given is having severe side effects. Homeo medicines r found efficacious in dengue last time. Hoimeo medicines can be used to prevent this viral fever and this is vastly proved. as Homeopathist i find it is good to prevent but after the onset of this viral fever Homeo medicines r useless. but ayurvedic medicines like Sudharsana Churanam and Kasturiadi Gutiks r best to be taken for more than 30 days, when u take Homeo. medicines as preventive, medicines like Ars., Gelsiemiun, Eup. Perf and Rhustox they creat a psudo disease simmilar to viral fever. no two like diseases will exists in abody. hence u have prophylactic effect for more than aweek after the first preventive homeo. medicine unless it is anti doted. Homeo medicines r best as preventive as found in practice. Hindu is 100% correct.
