I actually go to Church to hear the message the pastor has, but yes, the more uplifting the music is the better. I would much rather listen to music with guitars, drums and singers than a choir singing the same boring hymns that everyone has heard 1,000,000 times and who can barely keep themselves awake to sing it.

While, I've been to a church like that, and I though the music was good, (the singer had an amazing voice). I prefer the music to be a little more calm and reverent for Sunday Worship.

No, I don't. That is a personal preference and I think it keeps a lot of people out of church. Ask any teenager and they will tell you that music in church is boring. If you like gospel music or you like to sing, then I'm sure it works for you. If you can't sing, it's an embarrassment for everyone else.
I would much rather listen to a good speaker and learn something.

Sure, I enjoy contemporary Christian music and it is used quite frequently in my church along with the standard hymns that are also very uplifting.

I love to praise the Lord with or without instruments. The important thing is to praise him. Now if the type of music they are playing takes away from a praise like atmosphere and becomes more like an entertainment situation then I'm uncomfortable with it.

Sure. God ordained worship through music in the Book of Psalms. Read up on it in Chapter 150.

My Church has a rock band with a few lights, almost like a concert every Sunday.

Not I, I prefer to hear older traditional songs praising God but then to each their own. I do however listen to Contemporary Christians music at home.

Yes. I like to listen to music. Then when I leave I'm like that was fun. And then everyone is and my mom makes me repeat this.
"It was fun because Jesus loves me, not because of the music"
"It was fun because Jesus loves me, not because of the music"
"It was fun because Jesus loves me, not because of the music"
