Cos apparently 'Jesus wants me for a sunbeam' and really I dont want to go...

Seriously though folks, I live in a country with a state religion, were religious non elected lleaders sit in our legislator and our ruling family is also the head of the religion.

I feel victimised and part of a barbaric medieval society.......

How do I get religious asylum from the UK?

Err thanks to the invite to the US - but i'll maybe give that a miss - at least all none of our religious leaders actually belive in God - they are Anglicans.

And you have awful TV - I have my principals...

You don't need asylum, you twally! Just thank your lucky stars that the Royals and the Archbishops don't actually believe in it. ;-)

That's interesting. I didn't know that the ruling family was still considered the head of the religion, or that religious leaders were part of your government. You know, maybe we should do a swap. All the right wing fundamentalists over hear should go back home to the UK, and all the rational people should come over here.
