who said hell is down? We are all sinners (born that way) the penalty for sin is death and until the sin is covered in the blood of the lamb (Jesus) you will be held in hell until the day of judgment at which time you will be cast into the lake of fire forever! the GOoD news is that God does not want any to go there. He is grieved when a sinner won't accept His free gift of eternal life by faith in His Son who died on the cross and was raised from the dead to sit at His fathers right hand. but wait there's more. Jesus will come back! He is coming for His bride (church) to take her (Christians) to paradise forever. Ask your self this question; where do I want to spend eternity?? paradise or outer darkness chewing on my tongue and grinding my teeth while crying. Read the Bible...all the answers to life are in it.

All people who die go to the Bible hell. It is where all all the dead are laid to rest.
Jesus was ih hell (the grave) for three days and then his Father resurrected him back to heaven.
God is love and therefore does not torture his imperfect creation forever.
What does the Bible say about hell? Well, let's read some Scriptures that help us to understand what hell really is;
Proverbs 15:24: "The way of life is above to the wise, that he may depart from hell beneath." Even the wise are in hell and can depart either to life in heaven or to life here on earth.
Amos 9:2: "Though they dig into hell, thence shall mine hand take them; though they climb up to heaven, thence will I bring them down:" Can you dig into fire? No, but you can dig into the ground which is where most graves are.
Psalm 139:8: " If I ascend into heaven, You are there; If I make my bed in hell, behold, You are there." Would the Psalmist make his bed in a place of fiery torment and expect God to be there with him? No, but God would remember him and eventually resurrect him. In this way God would be with him.
Hell is temporary and will soon be destroyed as promised at Revelation 20:14: "And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death."
No more death so no more need for hell (graves)

Everyone sins, is a basic idea of Christianty (except Jesus didn't, but thats not relvant to this quesiton). The reason christians are saved from hell is the fact that they are christians, who act like one really should and do more than just say it. (I know plenty who act like one too). Hell is also not eternal. It will be destoryed along with all those inside, so.. they will not be suffering forever... rather brutal yet effectifly destoryed. True death.

Can you define "true sinners"? All have sinned an fall short of the glory of God.
True believers in God will go to heaven. Those who don't accept and follow Jesus are headed for hell.
It's not too late:
2 Peter 3:9-10a "The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance. But the day of the Lord will come like a thief..."
Are you ready?

There is no hell, it only exist in the minds of men. Properly translated in the bible the word for hell would become grave, resting place or death. Not hell. The bible says that all sinners die an eternal death.

We are all "True Sinners." 1st- it is important to rededicate our lives to God. John 3:16 is there for us to truly uderstand God's love for us. Once we have rededicated our lives to God- He understands that we are human and we will make mistakes. Ask God for His forgiveness, repent and importantly, be thankful for not only his love but the grace and mercy. If you do not confess that you believe in Jesus Christ...then it will be a different story.
You must confess this with your mouth and your heart. It is not just enough to be a good person doing good deeds.

No, I do not believe that. ALL of us humans on earth are sinners. (yes- EVERYONE).
By accepting that Christ died on the cross to pay for ALL of our sins, we are saved from eternal hell.
And... anyone can accept Christ. Even what we would consider to be the most heinous of all sinners.
Comforting isn't it???

No, and the Bible doesn't truly describe this either. Only people who lack education believe in this concept. Here's a good book to read on that "Origins of the Bible" by Samuel Graham.

You only go to hell if you chose to go to hell or do not make your decision about God's invitation or make it too late. We all fall short from the glory of God.

No, only non-Christians--or non-Baptists, if you ask my family. According to the Bible, everyone is a sinner, even a christian, god just likes christians better.
