From the minute I opened my eyes I swear it's just got progressively worse (and not my fault may I add) Now the house is tidy,I've been to work, all my jobs are done.So can i just put some good music on,open a decent bottle of red,and wallow in a bit of "ohh woe me"?

Yes-I think you should open that bottle of great red wine-sip on it and while taking in its great flavor, take in your horrible day--reflect on what went wrong and see what you can laugh about to help make it better--this is where the wine helps aaannd you start to enjoy the wine even more! soon, you will be able to see that tomorrow is another chance to do it different and have a better day. Today was not horrible if you learned from it--best thoughts

No it will only damage your liver, just have a few drinks and enjoy them instead. I do not know what the daily unit allowance is for yourself but find out on the Internet and stick to this.

Nah get blind stinkin drunk fall over and wake up with a beaut of a hangover and let us all know how you feel tomorrow. Oh yea and stay off work, phone them up and give them some blag excuse in a croaky voice.

Sounds like a plan!
If you can invite your best friend over with a second bottle and pop in a movie you both seen too many times to count. Then get drunk and talk all the while half listening to the movie and criticizing what the actors are saying, doing, wearing!

Have fun!
Now I want to do that too!!!

No. You will probably end up depressed. Then you will wake up in the morning with a hangover and have another bad day. Rent yourself a good comedy out and get your self some munchies curl up on your sofa and veg out. Works for me when I have had a bad day. Meet the Fockers is on Sky Movies 6 at 9pm if your interested.

If you do you will feel worse tomorrow. If you want to be alone get a good movie and some ice cream. Then take a nice long bubble bath with scented candles for light. After your bath put on a big comfortable robe watch the movie and eat ice cream.

Red wine will certainly get you into a plesant mood for a while but you'll get a terrible hangover when you wake up from sleep! I suggest that you go out and do some execise like walking along the beach.

having lived with an alcoholic for 4 years who has now recovered(and i am not saying that you are one)..i see the pattern that when he got tressed out the only solution wpuld be to wash it down with a good old bindge,he has since found better was to deal with stress..i do not drink at all,i take "Bach Flower"rmemedy when i feel like this, get some friend together and go for a nice walk..depends where you live..i live on Dartmoor.

I'm willing to disagree, that in fact, it was your fault. Either way, don't get drunk. You think it's bad now, wait until you lose your inhibitions. You stated it's getting progressively worse, therefore with that statistic under your belt you know that it can only get Worse than that, especially if you desensitize yourself. Watch the Secret. It'll show you why you have control of your "luck". www.thesecret.tv

Alcohol is not the answer but I know what you mean you just need to chill and put the day behind you but I would say invite the mates around too or have a good moan on the phone, you sound like you need chocolate too!!!

I'm really pleased that the worst of your day is over - now you can get on with enjoying your hard-won tidy house and orderly life (and your wine). Will raise a glass to you as soon as I get in from my horrible day!
