Some one needs to study their history. The U.S.A. was founded on the principle of religious FREEDOM not on a particular faith. There was even a mosque in the year 1776. Most of our nations founders were Deists not Theists. And I am confused, since I am a Catholic, and some Christians, claim we are not Christians, does this mean I need to move too?

Once again, Wiccans are being slammed because of their pentacle symbol. If only the so called righteous would do a little reading and educate themselves! It is NOT a satanic symbol. It represents the four elements plus spirit. It was unfortunately co-opted by the satanists then turned upside-down so that the bottom two points of the star would look like the devil's horns.

If someone goes to battle for your country, your values and your freedom - one of those freedoms being religious freedom of expression - and makes the ultimate sacrifice, giving their life for you, allowing them to have their religious symbol on the headstone is the only right and respectful thing to do. They gave their life. At the very least allow them the freedom to express their religious faith as it is enshrined in your country's Constitution.

And regarding your question about which country is religiously free? Canada.

I guess any country that is willing to follow their constitution.

Jack why don't you try and just look at the plain non bias facts in history. Then you will see that this country was not founded on the principles of Christianity. anyone can slant the truth when you leave parts of it out and only emphasis what you believe and ignore the rest.

The truth is out there about our founding fathers, all you have to do is research it. their writings and such are all over the Internet. and those plainly show were they were coming from and their feelings on religion.

Hindu dominated INDIA is the only country which allowed all religions to exist peacefully.

When jews were prosecuted everywhere in the world, Only India gave them safe shelter...even Sharon himself admitted that. When muslims created their own Islamic pakistan which was only for muslims, still India allowed other muslims to remain in India. When syrian Christians where thrown out of syria 2000 years ago, then only India gave them shelter and they are safe even today.

Hindus, Sikhs, Jews, muslims, Christians, Pagans...everyone has safe place in 82% Hindu dominated India.

Some people sure do seem to think so, don't they?

Sometimes people escape from religious persecution just so that they can turn around and persecute others in their turn - that certainly happened with many fo the sects that came here.

But one has to admit, we still have a pretty vibrant and far-ranging variety of belief communities active in the US - so far. There are people who want to crank up the witch hunts and Inquisitions again, but I think there are many more people who are willing to live together even if they disagree on doctrinal issues.

Har.... har... har... very funny. I have NO problem with people from other religions. I may not believe their right but they don't believe I'm right either so what does it matter!!??! Everyone just GROW UP AND LEARN TO TOLERATE EACH OTHER ALREADY! Sheesh! This country may have been founded on Christian principles yes, but freedom of religion is a guaranteed right in the bill of rights. I don't force my religion down anyone's throat, if they ask I tell! DO NOT lump all us Christians into one group because there are stupid Christians. You don't see ME going around pointing out every stupid non-christian do you?

Excellent question. When you find out will you let me know?

The fundaMENTALs are determined to have a xtianized and ignorant America full of compliant worker bees and submissive scared sheep. I really need to move. I bet the founding fathers are weeping in their graves at what has been done to their sacrifice and hard work.

The USA used to allow all of those people; now it's only for conservative Christians and zionist Jews.

We basically need to have a second civil war so those of us that value religious freedom can secede from the United States of Christianity--we just have to win. And please, let's not use the "stars and bars."
