I broke up with my boyfriend and I really wanted to stay friends with him, but he said no, he doesn't want us to be friends,he wants us to get back together. What is his problem? We broke up,I offer to saty friends and he says no, I want us to get back together.What is his problem???

First of all, why did you break up; and, what's your motivation for wanting to keep him around? If he didn't betray you in some form or fashion and the friendship was solid before you started a love relationship, why not work it out? If YOU want to maintain the friendship, but not necessarily the physical side of things, what's HIS motivation for keeping you around? (i.e. what do you base a friendship on?)
His "problem" as you called it is that guys usually want to keep things simple...so, either he doesn't see a problem or you're the best thing he's got(read-*only*) at the moment. Having you around as a 'friend' puts him right back where he started; or, it acts as this reminder of what he once had & lost for whatever reason...with no 'perks' to liven things up when the mood strikes him!
Bottom line, you want a friend: get a dog. Keep the contact between you as amicable as possible and try not to get bitter over spilled milk...eventually, all may be replaced by ambivalence or fond memories. Maybe then you can be friends, but don't count on it

The bigger Question here is why do you want to be friends with him. You broke up with him and it's expected that he is upset. If you wanted to remain friends then you should have given him time to get over the break up. It's somewhat insulting to say I'm breaking up with you, but can you remain in my life, but only as a friend.

It is near impossible for BF/GF to stay friends after a break up since one person always has stronger feeling. Beside it can also give one false hope for rekindling of the relationship

The guy obviously likes you probably even loves you, in his eyes you've turned around to him and said I would like to kick you in the nuts but its ok we can still be friends.
Its up to you to decide the following, either get back with him and mean it or get away from him, its literally that black and white, crazy I know.

it is hard for a guy to be friends when his heart is set on being more then just that. i mean everytime you two will hang out all he will be thinking about is how to get back with you. not to mention becuase you broke with him, maybe being around you and not being able to be with you might cause him some pain.

You can't expect him to want to be your friend after he's been in a realtionship with you. People have a hard time emotionally walking backwards. If you don't want to date him, that's fine he will deal with that in his own way. But if he doesn't want to be your friend, that is something you will have to deal with. It doesn't make him crappy, just human.

You've made your decision, so move on, remember men and women feelings are different -- sometimes you can't be friends
so just move on with your life and expect him to do the same.

he knows that the friends line will never work........he obviously still has feeligns for you.....so juss end things off with him completel...OR tell him friendship is the only thing you can offer anymore cuz you're moving on

he's heartbroken. Regardless of whether you wanted to stay friends or not, he's not going to let someone stay close to him when he hurts to be around them.
