Life can be easier for one night....or many. You can find some temporary relief in many things....alcohol, the arms of a stranger, drugs...etc. Or you could radically change your life. Find your bliss and then passionately go after it. Follow your dreams...instead of what is expected of you from external sources. Life is short and precious and love is rare.
I sold everything I owned, bought an RV and traveled for a year alone. Talk about free! I met the most wonderful ppl along my journey. Then one day I met the man of my dreams in a campground halfway around the world. He invited me to sit by his fire....I never left. We still travel continuously. We meet amazing ppl. We live life WAY outside of the box. We decided that the American dream was a trap and did not want to be stuck behind a white picket fence. We homeschool our children....mine, his and ours. My 18 month old daughter was born in the RV with a Hopi medicine woman attending the birth. I don't believe in god, but I am blessed. I have blessed myself with courage and determination. My dreams are my daily life now. It was hard at times...but oh so worth it.
I will be thinking of you today my friend.

Sometimes life feels like I'm in an Edgar Allen Poe short story. I'm thinking of 'The Monkey's Paw'. Ask for something good, and grief is sure to follow. A wise man said, "Life is a circle of sorrow." And another man said, "Adversity doesn't make the man, it reveals the man." So I go on, day by day, learning through sorrow, and adversity. Or, I could by some wine, and chuck it all....

It can be easier. All you have to do is stop worrying. Once you accept that life has ups and downs and not worry constantly about it you'll be fine. Take some time to relax. Worrying makes things worse and it can always get worse. But in the end it always gets better

ya know, everyone struggles, i don't complain because its easier to yield to the pain. You'll almost be numb to the pain. Do things that make you happy. Actually, life CAN be easier, just think like a mature child.

It would be wonderful if the Staples Easy Button worked on our lives and made things all right again. Unfortunately it's not that way. But I hope when I have my downs I have people I can rely on that love me and accept me the way I am through the good times and bad. It's all anyone can ask for.

We take the good with the bad. I bring a lot of bad on myself. Either by bad choices, or emotional problems. I have always thought that I am just way too intense. I don't aspire to be flippant but just a little more laid back. You know, f**k em if they can't take a joke.

I have heart failure, left leg amputated, right leg artery blocked and might be amputated, skin cancer that cost me 1/2 my nose, skin cancer by my ear that I say leave since I'll be dead from other things before it will kill me, scaring on my lungs..
but you know, I also have an 05' wrangler with a 3" lift, chrome all around, and have a heck of a good time with it.
Life is what you make it don't ya know.

It is sometimes. You can't tell me you haven't had a great night or two yet so far in your life. I've had several great days and nights. But I'm sure you know where to find a good night or two if you really wanted to. Did someone say "Business trip". Hmmmmmmm

Occasionally it is. There have been many times that I have been depressed for days and have tried so many ways to break out of it with no luck. Then I realize I have been relying on myself again and start to pray and give my problems to God. I shortly become refreshed and realize yet again that my own strength is nothing compared to God. I'm hard headed and it seems that I have to continually be reminded.
