Hello dear friend:
I understand your question and trust me I was puzzled by that too. I am a convert LOL. I wanted to answer your question like this: The perfection of Islam dictates that it have a motivation for every type of person including those that are not motivated except through sensory reward, which is the common lot whether people deny it or not, and the principle of Paradise as reward for martyrs is also very much present in everyones doctrine. However, Paradise in Islam also describes a higher level called ridwan i.e. the lavishing of Divine good pleasure, to which we pray that Allah guide us. This means that paradise will look to you in whatever way you want it and to others in whatever way they want it. I think the 72 virgins thing was used as an example for those people who are moved by those types of things. And the virgins called Huries are just servants or maidens not really the concept of "Virgins" as you might be thinking of this are just helpers. Paradise in a sense is whatever you want it to be :) there are different levels of rewards for each person. For example I stay at home and just clean and cook and I am good ... But you go to work and you help the needy and you take care of your family and you are kind to others... should your reward not be greater than mine in heaven???? Is just an example you know :) I did a lot of research and my conclusion is this... let me try to worry about being good myself help people in this world if they need anything the hungry, the poor, the sick and then May God reward me or punish me in the next :) ---Let me know if you need to know anything else that I can respond. I will check back your post. GREAT QUESTION!

Muslimmommy, so I guess the human bombs misunderstood the meaning of being promised virgins for their enjoyment along with the promises made by the imams you're the only one understanding the meaning of virgin girls. Interesting... this is why some of the human bombs have placed protection (in their opinion,) over their genital area, so at least in their small thinking their genitals will survive the explosion, forgetting there must be a body to attach them to. Wish you luck in your life choices, hope they'll be good for you....

Actually i don't know where did the number 72 come from...Heaven in Islam "AL Jannah" is not only about those virgins and blowing yourself up in civilians is not the way to get there.

those virgins that God promised for the believers are called "Hur Al-Eien" and they are not human being. but a special creation created for those who deserve it.
there is no where in the Quran mention the number of 72 virgins. and i think this question has been asked many time and u r well aware of its answer. you are just asking this question to play a game of "fun".
just leave Islam alone and be happy with what you believe. we know it's the true words of our lord. thanks.

first aof all those people who commit suicide will die the same death until eternity -- that is the punishment for them. second even if their punishment is over they will again be punished for killing innocent people. so Inshaallah (God Willing), they will be punished for hurting innocent people.
also a person who kills unjustly can never be a muslim. and they never enter Heaven. in Hevane, each man has a partner and each women has a partner. only one and no more. also the relationship between people there is pure and non-physical. it will not be like the earthly relationships -- sorry but no sex in Heaven. for that there is Hell fire.
