You say, "pink on the inside," but what about pink on the outside?
Light is energy. When white light is refracted, it splits into the full spectrum of colors. Red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet - each with a specific wavelength - each vibrating differently thus impacting in a specific energetic manner.
Each of us, depending on mood and intent, will reflect one or more of the color bands. This is seen in Kirlian photography and is one of the things that we feel when we meet a person for the first time. So a better question might be, "What color are you putting out there and what effect is it having on your immediate environment and the things within that environment?" Also...
Are you absorbing another's "energy," thus sucking someone dry or are you freely giving yours? Particularly to someone in need?
And in the reflecting department? I only reflect light energy when I feel I am in danger. You can, if you so choose, manipulate the light or color band you wish to reflect. As everyone on some level will feel this energy, it can be a useful tool in keeping you safe.

we all do both
the light we do reflect from sunlight or made made light others see
the reflected light has lost it's full spectrum and it then becomes a mix of those colors our eyes sense and translate into our vision
I would like to absorb it and stay warm, and reflect the rest to not over do it
