SPARERIB MARINADE
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 c. soy sauce
1 tbsp. sherry or cooking sherry
2 tbsp. duck sauce
1 tbsp. sugar
1 tbsp. vinegar
1 tbsp. maple syrup
1 tsp. salt
Mix together. Marinates 2 1/2 pounds of ribs. Cut rack of ribs into thirds. Put ribs in plastic bag or dish. Turn occasionally. Marinate at least 3 hours or overnight. Cook in oven at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hours, uncovered

Big can of tomatoe sauce or medium can of paste with some water. Some lemon juice. Some brown sugar. Some salt. Some pepper. If you want some chopped onions, not a lot just a little.
Do it all to personal taste.
Pour it all over the ribs, which should be cut in advance. Let them sit for a while then slow cook them at about 325 covered with foil, you can uncover the last 15-20 minutes.
When the meat starts to fall off the bone they are ready.

In a large bowl or pot combine
I cup tariyaki sauce
2 oranges 1sliced thinly and the other juiced
1 can of beer
1/4 cup hot sauce
salt and pepper
5 garlic cloves crushed
1 small onion thinly sliced
Add the ribs and let them marinate at least 4 hours, over night is better. Then cook the ribs basting the meat with the remaining marinade. Do not reuse the marinade.
