Depends what she likes, usually a guy who listens. Is this your mom...girl friend, wife, etc? look around see what she has and try to figure it out. Does she wear lots of jewelry, or is she a person that likes to go to spa's.....give her a gift certificate to a spa. or a weekend away, depends on the cash situation.

Jewelry is nice but it depends on if the woman is into it. I for one never wear jewelry, I'm allergic to most metals. Personally I'd just love it if a guy just treated me for a day. Just plan things that we could do together, include little tokens along the way like flowers or teddy bears with cute sayings. You can end the evening with a nice romantic dinner or something. Its all about showing a woman in many different ways that you're really into her. But thats just me. Not sure if you're talking about your significant other or your mom or sister.
