He moves around a lot throughout the night. He already wears thick pj's with feet but it is still cold.

If he wears thick pj's and has socks on. I think he should be fine.
I have a 6 month old and as soon as the covers are on him and tucked between the matress they are kicked off in about 15 seconds. We dress him very warmly at night and he seems to do great.

my 1yr old does the same thing. She doesn't keep a blanket on her. So l put the blanket sleepers on her and it keeps her warm like she is sleeping with a blanket on. The blanket sleepers are thicker than the pj's and they feel like a blanket, you might want to try putting on a t-shirt and some socks under your babys pj's for the little extra comfort. If that don't work try putting a little heating fan in the room it looks like a fan but it puts out heat and it is safer than haveing a heater in his room. The fan is at Wal-Mart.

Best you can do is keep the room at 70 75 degrees besides that children move to much durring the night to keep a blanket on them.

Babies R Us has a little thing that looks like a baby sleeping bag. You put their PJs on and then strap it to them. It reminds me of a big dress. They can roll around and do whatever without getting cold or getting it off.

I wish that there was a solution for that. I have a two year old and i cant keep the blankets on him. I will cover him up and they come right back off. If he is really tired then he holds on to it for dear life. Other than that its on the floor or in the corner of his bed.

My son refused to use ANY kind of covers till he was almost 4 years old. Turn up the thermostat a bit if you can; or, once he's doezed off, tuck the blankets i under the mattress so they won't come loose.

If you're worried that he's getting cold, tuck a blanket at the FOOT of the bed. Secure it under the mattress so that he can't pull it up over his tiny little head. Don't use a quilt that he could easily pull out from under the mattress.

I could never keep my son covered. I would just put an extra layer of clothes on him under the footed pj's

it isn't going to happen. if you're worried that he'll be cold make sure that he's wearing pajamas and in the winter buy the fleece blanket pjs. that way he's "wearing" the blanket, so if he kicks his off, no biggie he'll still be warm.
