Yes. I have felt and known both.
I was working one day and standing in the back of the store when the door opened and I felt a heaviness, like a hot wool blanket falling over me. It took my breath away for a moment and my senses were instantly on overload. I was acutely aware of everything around me.
There in the doorway was a tall man, wearing a tan suit (It was the 80's) and he looked like a typical business man.
Though I was way in the back of the store and there were several associates he passed, he approached me.
He asked for 3x5 cards and I took him to the cards and went to hand them to him. He said that was all he needed and walked to the register.
As I rang him up and went to give him his change, he slowly unfolded his palm one finger at a time and I noticed his nails were long, pointed like knives and had dark, black streaks running through the nails. I dropped his change in his hand and felt a battle all around me.
I was a brand new Christian at the time so I had no idea what it was exactly I had encountered. I just knew what I knew and though I was frightened, there was a deeper part of me that wasn't.
I prayed about it over and over and wanted God to explain to me what had happened. I really wrestled with it.
Then about a week later I was sitting at lunch and in a local little paper there was a headline: SATAN WORSHIPERS SEEK USER PERMIT FOR THEIR ANUAL CONVENTION IN (Insert my home town).
I read the article and it was clear that leaders of this Satanic organization had been in our town a week earlier, preparing for their meetings with the city to obtain these user permits. I knew then that this man was part of this group.
Praise God that He gave me the gift of discernment and that He COVERED ME from the evil that walked in that door that day.
I know now that NO ONE CAN BE AGAINST ME WHEN GOD IS FOR ME! Amen.

I believe that both good and evil exist. Its all about the mind too...You think a certain way..watch certain movies or listen to certain music. Maybe its goes back to how a person's childhood was affected in a good way or bad way. I like to be in clarity and anyone who is negative around me I don't have a close relationship with. I try to be helpful but sometimes people don't want to be helped and there is only so much that you can do. I have seen "spirits" at one time (maybe I was going through something difficult in my life and had hallucination's which I thought were spirits) and felt good presence around me too...its a good feeling too. Then I had moments of doubt but I know to be strong and always try to think of something positive and good in my life. The trick is to be strong at heart, mind and soul. And don't let bad situations trick you to believing that good does not exist. Nothing is ever picture perfect, well at least at earth it isn't.

Many people seem to regard evil is a 'thing'... something that has some form of corporeal existence in the physical universe. In that sense, evil does NOT exist.
Evil 'exists' only as an abstract concept... one that is 'dualistic' in nature. 'Evil' cannot 'exist' without 'good'. They are the two sides of the same coin, in the Yin/Yang sense. One cannot 'exist' without the other; neither can be defined or described except in terms of the other.
Good/evil is further abstracted in the sense that it represents a 'judgement'... not a 'thing'. As a judgement, good/evil is wholly subjective, since it relies entirely upon the 'criteria' that is employed in making the judgement.
So, the real issue is not good/evil per se... rather it is the criteria that people use in making their judgements of good/evil.
Since we are pretty much all wired the same, and share pretty much the same cultural values in a larger sense, we usually find ourselves on common ground when we judge questions such as "Was Hitler evil?", since we can agree on the criteria. However, we should realize that if Hitler had been asked the question "Are you evil?", he most certainly would have been thoroughly offended by the very idea. According to HIS criteria, he would have seen his actions as good, for his people and for 'The Fatherland'.
When we get down to subtler questions, where someone's 'criteria' might depend upon interpretation of a particular bible verse, for example, these kinds of judgements can get a little stickier.
Remember, though... it's not really about good/evil, it's really about criteria... which ultimately comes down to one's moral compass.

You mean like Da Debbil? No, I don't believe that. I've had a few mean thoughts and I've been scared a few times, but nothing I couldn't handle. I've felt the presence of love, too, but once again I can't be sure how pure it was. Funny how believing in pure good sounds like the same as believing in God, but believing in pure evil sounds like insanity. Don't go to the dark side, Luke.

You better believe it.. this world is 95 percent evil, I said this WORLD, We as Christian men and women are not of this EVIL world, we are just passing through here.. We are citizens of HEAVEN pure100 percent good. The only reason there is ANY good at all in this EVIL world is because we are still here.. When the day of the Lord comes and we leave here, then there will be NO more good on this planet at all. Then you will see 100 percent EVIL, it will be in full force on that day. Lord have mercy on all those poor souls that never knew you.

Yes, I do believe that pure evil exists and have felt
and seen its prescence. Everytime I look out
my window at night and see drug dealers hurting and destroying families. Buying a mothers food
stamps to give her drugs, then the children have
nothing to eat. Having people selling themselves and everything they own to get this drug from them.
Young children 11 and 12 years of age and up
trying to make a fast buck not knowing the true
consequences of what they are doing. Yes
PURE EVIL DOES EXIST!!!!!!

Pure evil and pure good exist, but they are not supernatural things. They are within each person and the choices we make. We have both wonderful and terrible potential. To say that "supreme good and evil" are outside of us, gives away our personal power and responsibility.

Yes, pure evil exists. I have personally felt and witnessed it.
I'd say the woman who cut the baby from her friend's stomach--thereby killing both the woman and the baby--and drowned her friend's other three children (and left their bodies in laundry machines!) is most certainly evil. Very pure evil right there.
