If none of that works you can go into Run -- msconfig --- startup options -- and uncheck the one that says msnmessenger.

try typing in msconfig in your run box.this brings up the items that run on startup.click on the start up tab and you will see a list of proggrammes that run on start up.simply uncheck msn messenger then close the box.computer then ask you restart which you do.job done

i recomend doing
open msn messenger
click tools
options
general
untick the 1st box ( reads: automatically run messenger when i start windows)
The other way its complicated for people who dnt know much about computers
only use that is a last resort!

signal into MSN messenger, click on your call and flow to recommendations, then flow to the signal-In tab, contained in the overall recommendations make certain the 'promptly signal into messenger' field isn't ticked. Restart computing gadget :)

try ccleaner, i just download scotty the watchdog from winpatrol.com and told the messanger to not startup
