In my opinion it depends on how long you two have been going out. If you haven't been seeing each other very long then I would have to say no. It depends on the age also. You can take him out to eat and a card, you can buy him a jersey if he is into sports and a card,
If you all have been going out for awhile then boxers and a card would be fine.

The boxers sound like a nice touch but speaking from experience, I'm not into cards and I'm not sure most guys could care less about getting a card.

Sure if that's what your budget calls for, and I'm sure he will understand . but if not and your just being cheap then no you don't buy your bf boxers and a card unless he is cheap and buys you cheap gifts . but on the other hand if he's good to you and treats you right and makes you feel loved and you can afford it buy him a nicer gift and put some love into the gift and really show you care

yah I've done it before, it's a cute idea, especially since boxers can have all different colors & designs, so have fun with it.
