Christianity certainly does. Christian 'Dominionists' (Reconstructionalists, Theonomists) have largely usurped the local level political apparatus of the Republican Party, and are engaged in a sub rosa process to politically motivate moderate Christians under the false cover of religious issues such as morality and family values, under cover of front organizations like the Christian Coalition, the American Family Association and the Promise Keepers. The goal is nothing less than the takeover of all elective offices in the USA.

Their doctrine comes from the Bible, starting with the term 'dominion' at Genesis 1:28... “And God said unto them, [Adam and Eve] Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth and subdue it; and have DOMINION… over every living thing.” They interpret DOMINION as: “... a supremacy in determining and directing the actions of others or in governing politically, socially, or personally.”

They want to remake the USA as a theocracy... and they are succeeding.

Its most common form, Dominionism, represents one of the most extreme forms of Fundamentalist Christianity thought. Its followers, called Dominionists, are attempting to convert the laws of United States so that they match those of the Hebrew Scriptures. They intend to achieve this by using the freedom of religion in the US to train a generation of children via home-schooling and in private Christian religious schools. See: JESUS CAMP http://www.apple.com/trailers/magnolia/jesuscamp/trailer/ Later, their graduates will be charged with the responsibility of creating a new Bible-based political, religious and social order. One of the first tasks of this order will be to eliminate religious choice and freedom. Their eventual goal is to achieve the "Kingdom of God" in which much of the world is converted to Christianity. They feel that the power of God's word will bring about this conversion. No armed force or insurrection will be needed; in fact, they believe that there will be little opposition to their plan. People will willingly accept it. All that needs to be done is to properly explain it to them.

All religious organizations, congregations etc. other than strictly Fundamentalist Christianity would be suppressed. Nonconforming Evangelical, main line and liberal Christian religious institutions would no longer be allowed to hold services, organize, proselytize, etc. Society would revert to the laws and punishments of the Hebrew Scriptures. Any person who advocated or practiced other religious beliefs outside of their home would be tried for idolatry and executed. Blasphemy, adultery and homosexual behavior would be criminalized; those found guilty would also be executed. There are two conservative Christian pastors in Texas who have advocated the execution of all Wiccans. Ralph Reed, the executive director of the conservative public policy group the Christian Coalition has criticized Reconstructionism as "an authoritarian ideology that threatens the most basic civil liberties of a free and democratic society."

By failing to openly confront this insidious agenda, we have sown the seeds of our own destruction, while these religious wing-nuts are paving the way to Armageddon with gleeful anticipation.

ok here is going. First. The regulations of this land persist with courtroom rulings and governing bodies ...in reality an identical way as England. whilst our forefathers got here here, wide-unfold the form etc. the assumption grow to be that there may well be no state sponsered faith. THIS grow to be by no skill meant to represent that we could not persist with a ethical code tied to the bible...it meant that there would not be a longtime non secular employer (mormon, jewish, etc.). The society grow to be to be based upon the ethical fabric of western faith. Western because of the fact it is the place they have been from. The information unquestionably use the call of God in diverse places. SO...with the bible asserting that a guy and woman should not be married then according to probability the definition of a same intercourse couple could get replaced to that of union. a guy/woman marry which denotes non secular tones collectively as a same intercourse couple are unioned which denotes that the classic faith would not know the relationship of marriage between the two however the courts and federal government be conscious the everybody is a criminal partnership. this could disarm the a strategies good from arguing that exact same intercourse should not be married. in spite of the indisputable fact that some could argue, the arguement turns into vulnerable. those that argue faith could know an identical intercourse marriage are only as incorrect in spite of the indisputable fact that. a private employer should not be compelled to view something as perfect in the event that they view it incorrect. over the years issues will substitute their minds. it may well be the equvalent of gay/Lesbian society viewing marriage as incorrect...umm...

Yes, there is.
A "christian" cult, called Jehovah's Witness, opposes the US Constitution and any form of secular government. Also, any theocratic government like some Islamic states would oppose the US Constitution.

I see many letters in newspapers from Christians who oppose separation of church and state or even deny that it exists. Several of them tell non-Christians to leave the land. They want their religion to be the state religion, and a state religion is forbidden in the First Amendment. George Washington didn't want God or Christianity mentioned in the Constitution. Thomas Jefferson didn't want the Bible taught in public schools in his state of Virginia. They would disapprove of school prayer and God on all of our money and in the Pledge of Allegiance. All of this is contrary to the First Amendment. Shall I continue?

Oddly, I did find one weird example.

I was volunteering for a political campaign in 2004 (I won't say which one), and I was going door to door trying to talk people into voting for my candidate. I met one guy who refuses to vote, because he said only God is qualified to lead us.

I tried convincing him that there's going to be a human leader here on Earth, whether we like it or not, so we might as well participate in picking the best possible person for that job, but he didn't want any part of it.
