Either That Or Some Kid Thinks It's Funny To Keep Calling Up PayPhone And See If Anyone Answers. The More You Answer It The Longer It Will Go On For. Best Thing Is To Inform Provider that Nuisance Calls Being Made And Keep On At Them Until They Do Something About It.

I would take it off the hook.
When someone comes up to use it all they have to do is click the receiver to get it to work again.
There might be a serve number on the phone you could call the company that owns it.
Also you can error out automated calling computers by answering the phone then hitting ################ until it hangs up. The computer records it as an error and deletes the number from the call list. That works at home too.

Someone used this phone to call someone - that urgently needs to speak with that person. I would contact the company and tell them that it is effecting your work, and see if the number could be changed. Other then that I would suggest going and taking it off the hook - if someone needs to use it they will replace it.
