Don't be in a hurry. His purrsonality might suggest a name, and you won't really see his purrsonality until he's been with you more than a few days and had a chance to settle into his new home and get to know you. And even if his purrsonality does't suggest anything, wait a while and see what you find yourself calling him when you play and when you snuggle. Whatever nickname or pet name seems to feel natural can become his real, official name.

The perfect name! Call him, "Pendejo." Pronounce it: pen-DEH-hoe. He'll probably respond to that, too. Unusual name. That's what a friend of mine called his white Pit Bull dog, and everyone turned around every time he called him.
