my husband needs to take the smallpox shot for work, but he has psoriasis would you happen to know what can happen to him if he does get it. I read in the pamphlet that people with psoriasis can get it but he doesnt want to tell people at work. please help!!!

He can get the vaccine. Follow all the instructions in the pamphlet. Touching the site of the injection and then touching eyes can cause blindness.

Rather than being a Small Pox shot, it would be Chicken Pox vaccine shot that you intend to ask about. Psoriasis, if inactive presently, will not cause any problem.

Best let the people at work know, so at least they'll know how to cope should anything happen to him. Consult a doctor, and follow the instructions, and it should be fine.
