its fantastic,you will be spoilt for choice,nip down to Playa de Pocillos(5 mins walk),its a bit quieter and a better beach,loads of nice restaurants.

I stay in Puerto Del Carmen as well, you will love it. Are you near the Beach?
If you are I can find you out more information by looking in my photo collection, if you let me know what is the name of place that you will be staying in?
And what kind of food you like to eat?

Get a taxi to the 'old town' (or take a stroll), opposite the taxi rank there is a bar/restaurant which is absolutely beautiful!. Cant remember the name (bodegas??) but you will see it is always full, very good menu with traditional and English chargrilled food and very reasonably priced.

Just came back...really enjoyed it. Have cocktails in Tropical & then go on to the Atlantic bar & say hello to Faith in the front bar.

McDonald's or pizza hut mind you there is a lovely Indian restaurant nearby can't remember the name though sorry
