2 Tim 3:14 You, however, continue in the things that you learned and were persuaded to believe, knowing from what persons you learned them 15 and that from infancy you have known the holy writings, which are able to make you wise for salvation through the faith in connection with Christ Jesus. 16 All Scripture is inspired of God and beneficial for teaching, for reproving, for setting things straight, for disciplining in righteousness, 17 that the man of God may be fully competent, completely equipped for every good work.
Rom 15: 4 For all the things that were written aforetime were written for our instruction, that through our endurance and through the comfort from the Scriptures we might have hope. 5 Now may the God who supplies endurance and comfort grant YOU to have among yourselves the same mental attitude that Christ Jesus had, 6 that with one accord YOU may with one mouth glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Heb 5:7 In the days of his flesh [Christ] offered up supplications and also petitions to the One who was able to save him out of death, with strong outcries and tears, and he was favorably heard for his godly fear. 8 Although he was a Son, he learned obedience from the things he suffered; 9 and after he had been made perfect he became responsible for everlasting salvation to all those obeying him,
Deut 32:4 The Rock, perfect is his activity,
For all his ways are justice.
A God of faithfulness, with whom there is no injustice;
Righteous and upright is he.
5 They have acted ruinously on their own part;
They are not his children, the defect is their own.
A generation crooked and twisted!

You can't prove that the Bible is the word of God by quoting the Bible -- that is a paradox. If someone thinks the Bible is not the word of God, he will just say that whatever verse you choose is not the word of God, and you're stuck.

LOOK UP THE VERSES ON PROPHECY FULFILLED. VERSES ALONE AREN'T GOING TO DO WHAT YOU WANT. YOU NEED TO BE ABLE TO BUILD A CASE BY PAINTING A PICTURE FOR THE READER WHO IS UNABLE TO DO THIS ON THEIR OWN.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
What if you were to concentrate on all the Old Testament Prophecy that Jesus fulfilled in His lifetime and is still fulfilling?
The very odds of one man being able to fulfill these is IMPOSSIBLE to say the least.
This study, which enables you to create a simple chart for at-a-glance reference is a wonderful witness to the authenticity of the Holy Bible.
-----------------------------------------
The other approach is to research the Bibles Continuity which is truly unlike any other book in history.
Have you been to college? Have you ever worked with a learning team around a table before? It is virtually impossible to get everyone on the same page, that the project can come into fruition without conflict or contradiction. Yet, this "learning team," if you will was somehow (I believe with the power of the Holy Spirit) bring their project into perfection in spite of some of the authors never even knowing each other or having spoken to each other.
How could this book have been written to its level of perfection without it having been GOD INSPIRED?
Consider the following:
1. It was written over about a fifteen-hundred year span
2. Written by more than forty authors from every walk of life, including kings, military leader, peasants, philosophers, fishermen, tax collectors, poets, musicians, statesmen,scholars, and shepherds.
3. It was written at different times
4. It was written in different places
5. It was written with different moods
6. It was written on three continents: Asia, Africa and Europe
7. It was written in different languages: Hebrew and Aramaic
8. It was written in a wide variety of literary styles
9. The Bible addreses hundreds of contraversial subjects that create opposing opinions when mentioned or discussed. The biblical writers spoke on hundreds of hot-topics, yet from Genesis to Revelation, in spite of the different authors, different places and different time periods, there is an unsurpassed harmony to their teachings.
The Bible says the Bible is perfect. Just trust the people who wrote the Bible who said they were inspired by God to write it. (All of the errors in the Bible are just God's way of adding flavoring) Donkeys talk all the time.
