First check with your vet to see if your dog has a bladder infection. Has there been any changes that might have upset your dog, like moving, new person in the house or even new pets. Sometimes a simple change like moving his bed can upset him. But you may have to start over with the potty training. I would suggest putting your dog in a crate while unattended and keep a leash on him and attaching it on your wrist. So you will know immediately when he needs to go. Then put him outside to do his business. This may take a few days or even weeks to retrain him. Be diligent and he will be back to potting outside in no time. Good luck with the training.

Not a Vet, but when my cat was sick it started messing in the house to draw attention to the fact that it wasnt well.
Maybe send it to the vet for a check up.

you probably did something to upset him and he is paying you back. dogs do things like that, it is there way of expressing how upset they are. When my dog goes out to do his business he goes out of the yard and he never does where we find it. One day i yelled at him and the next morning i went to get in my car and he had poopied right next to my car door and i stepped in it. and another time i yelled and he done the same thing.

Have you added a new pet to your home or a new person? It may be angry for some reason.

I agree. Ask your vet. We can't know what the reason is when we don't know your situation.
