To those of you afraid to enable your email, I'm one of the most outspoken atheists on here, and I hardly get a peep in my mail... quit worrying so much.

LOL, I don't ever try to send a message to someone in anger. But, I have had a few hate emails due to my irreverant sense of humor and atheistic views. I just delete them, I know some people will be offended by some of the things I say. It's just part of life, that not all people will agree, and not all people are playing with a full deck. Peace angry peeps!

LOL, I have messages enabled; while I've gotten a few emails from folks who are truly scary, the vast majority of messages have been respectful, thought provoking, and beneficial to me.

I think some folks (not just Christians) choose this option because they fear criticism. They forget the message of Proverbs 12:1 -- "Whoever loves instruction loves knowledge, But he who hates correction is stupid."

Peace.

I'm an atheist, but I'll have to side with the Christians here. I don't have my messages enabled because I value my privacy and don't wish to get a lot of idiots sending me e-mails. I say what I have to say here. That's good enough.

I hope other Christians enable the mail for communication. I welcome discussion. Maybe some of the people on here don't realize how to enable the mail. I have seen it enabled but it doesn't go through. Maybe they don't complete the task. Maybe they just want not to be bothered.

I don't want to be put on spam lists and ruin my e-mail.

I only have one e-mail, no hidden ones for porn like many other people do.

I do not fear the "Truth" because it took me 30 years of searching for the "Truth" to find it. That is why I am now Catholic.

I have studied all Religions as well as no Religion, so why would it be necessary after all of that to hide from anything?

Peace!

I haven't taken a survey of "allow message" settings usage sorted by religious faith.

I always follow the philosophy of "keep it on the board."

We are all still strangers. I TRY not to get personal, or private.

I may consider an exception for nubile and loose women! :)

PS I might ask in return why it's so important to make a point to a stranger who is most likely not predisposed to change his or her views. I get caught up in it too, when I have a response I really want to give. But I have yet to send or receive a private email from this site.

Meh probably. However I haven't enabled my e-mail because I'm not in the mood to recieve hate mail. Plus they wouldn't like what I would say to them. I figure best to avoid the whole situation.

But who knows, maybe I will enable it just to see some of the stupid comment I might recieve like that whole "Satan is your father" crap

We do not fear truth. The truth will set us free. Jesus is the way and the truth and the life, no one will enter to the Father's house except through Jesus. It is just that we do not want to be separated from God after this life here.

I experience God here because I accepted Holy Spirit in my heart...so I know what I am talking about. I only hope that you can experience Him too..so then you know what I mean. but the truth will set you free. Free from fear.

I'm a christian, and I look forward to communicating with other people, but it's a rare occurance when someone e-mails me. Yeah, I think that if you're on here blasting other people, then you should have the guts to allow them to personally return the favor.

Hate mail I would imagine. I do allow messages but most of those I have received have been ugly and hateful. Some do not wish to receive these and who can blame them?
