I know it is said at a toast or when they are dancing, but I am trying to find a specific definition and I am unable to find one online so far. Thank you for any help.

Opa, is not a word

so it cannot be translated

you can say that it is an expletive, which is used to express happines and spirit ascension, specially in celebration time-

it is an "invitation" for joyfull times

and guess what! it really works!

you must see the Greeks in action to understand this better!

its like a toast when u r like having a celebration like when u just got engaged or got a promotion at work.. either way it means good health 2 u :-)

well, i agree that you cant translate it exactly. we usually say it when we are dancing and feel high! lol its like yippee lol..its an exlamation word
