Already there seems to be a decisive split between males regretting and females having no regrets....interesting

Funny story. I once went out with a girl, her family were richer than Belgian chocolate dipped in Swiss chocolate. One day she goes to me "There's something I need to tell you" and I said "Something I need to tell you as well", so she let me go first. I said "I'm breaking up with you cos your parents think I'm common as dog crap" (which is true, but I put on an effort for them), and she goes "Oh, well I was going to tell you my great aunt died and her will came through today and I inherited £25,000 and I was going to give you a share." I could have wept.

No regrets, except fo the ones that shoud've been dumped earlier , oh that sounds a bit mean, i'm not really just that sometimes you know it not going to work out but you hang in there for some reason when u should move on.

I still do over 10 years later but without the experiences I went through after the fact, I wouldn't be who I am today. It's natural to feel some sadness over a lost future with them but it doesn't mean that you won't be happy. There is more than one "perfect person" out there for you. :)

Then again, if the time and situation are right (and it isn't a short time after you dumped them), don't be afraid to tell them how you feel.

I don't know if I regret dumping her, or if I just regret how I did it. I didn't explain to her the reasons, I just sorta ignored her - I know I hurt her and I'm sorry for that

Never regret what you've done, only what you didn't do.

The way I see it - if I hadn't split up with people in my past, I wouldn't be with the man I am now.

nop!in as much as I think twice before the dump, dumping should always be seen as a good ridance to bad rubish each time you want to think about it otherwise you tend to start regretting it

Yes, when he showed up to my sons funeral, I realized then he truly loved me more then i thought, he worked a lot and forgot a lot of holidays including my birthday, but when it came down to needing him most he was there I wish i could go back and fix it, however it is too late.
