Why not call him "Milo" after the Jack russell in The Mask. Or you could call him "Chip" as every Jack Russells I have met, although lovely have a chip on their shoulders about being small, I mean come on they will take on any dog!! My mother in laws one (rest her little soul!) was over whilst they were away. We took her for a walk, and twice she tried it to have 2 different German Shepherds!!
Or you could call him "Jack"

Bonne Chance, I am sure what ever you call him it will be lovely. Enjoy him! We have a King Charles called "Biggles" As my hubbie is a pilot and the dog looks like he has goggles on! We had 2 rabbits called "Mixie" and "Matosis", that got lots of laughs, we now have a rabbit called "Dang dang" (daughter says rabbits go dang dang dang as they hop. We also have a cat called "Piper" after my husbands Piper Cub plane!!! Sad people we know!!

Little Jack or Little John. Russ (short for Russell ie a small version of Russell). JR (as in Dallas). Pip (as in pipsqueak). Tiny. Big (ironic)

We bought a mini Jack Russell as a companion for our Collie, they're fantastic wee dogs. Dogs tend to respond better to names with two syllables, so go for a simple, catchy name. It will make is easier for the J.R.T to learn, so teaching "here" and "heel" will be much simpler. As for names, wait till you see him. As soon as we picked up our wee girly, we just knew she was Maisie through and through.

I used to have a Jack Russell, and we called her cupycake. Husband thought it a little frilly for his dog... but it was cute, and we got lots of cute comments on it.

ahhh just read, it is a male? wow... cupycake won't do.
How about Hydro?

Our darling Jack Russell was called Rastus, which means constant (faithful). He was an absolute treasure.
I wish you all the very best with your little fellow.
