Drinking tea or any other beverage will not guarantee weight loss. Some teas, particularly green tea are loaded with antioxidants which take care of the free radicals in your body. It provides other benefits as well. Some have claimed it's helped them lose weight. Look at it this way, if it doesn't help, it certainly tastes good.
Water is one of the best drinks you can have, especially when managing your weight. Water helps your body remove the toxins in your system so your body is more efficient. It could even help increase your metabolism a small bit.
As for music to dance to, just turn on the radio. Find a station that plays songs with a good beat. Even if you can't dance, don't worry about it. Just start moving with the beat and enjoy yourself. Dancing is supposed to be fun!

Not all Tea.
GREEN TEA is always associated with loosing weight. Some teas can help you burn fat and calories. A recent scientific study supports green tea’s ability to burn fat and increase metabolism. What’s more, other studies show that, when combined with other sensible lifestyle choices like maintaining a healthy body weight, both green and black teas can help reduce the risk of heart disease, the #1 health risk for women.
Most drinks that are rich in fiber can help clean your system and therefore helps to build your metabolism.
Avoid carbonated drinks, as even kids know that there lots of sugar on it. Makes you gain weight and slows ur metabolism.

drinking tea will help you lose weight in the same way water does (as long as the tea has no or few calories). many of the empty calories people take in is from fluids. you will have an easier time losing weight if you follow the simple rule of getting all your calories from food and none from drinks. also when i was losing weight i would drink hot tea in the evening, it would keep me from snacking.

Although tea has components beneficial to human bodies, there isn't enough of it to make significant difference.
The real difference is, when you drink tea on regular basis, INSTEAD OF other drink, such as soft drinks, juices, punches, etc, you reduce the overall intake of other less beneficial ingredients, and especially sugar; thus resulting in reduction of weight.
You can achieve the same result with water.

green tea will help. I also have heard that the caffeine found in tea quickens your metabolism so drinking any tea is fine but no sugar and no milk.

yes, it can help, it's better than soda in any case! some teas (like green tea) are also packed with antioxidants which ward off free radicals (those can cause cancer). you should complement your tea-drinking with a healthy diet and exercise.
