In my case its ,"how many times do you brush your TOOTH "
Unfortunately I have to wear a denture at the top but he does tell me off If I haven't brushed and flossed the bottom teeth . So never mind how many questions he asks ,just make sure to look after what you have got because I hate it now I have lost mine .Thank goodness I have a good dentist as my denture looks great

They ask that very question because in order to keep your teeth and mouth healthy your supposed to brush on average at least twice a day also it could be that the mouth in question has bleeding gums therefore they would ask it as to try and determine the cause (over brushing)

Because it is important to clean teeth after eating. Bacteria form where food deposits are left between the teeth.

Why does my doctor keep telling me to lose weight?
If your gums look lousy and you say you never brush, I know I have to work on getting you to brush. If they look lousy and you say that you brush three times a day, I know that I have to show you the right way to brush.

So that if you get the answer wrong they can have the satisfaction of telling you so! Actually, my dentist doesn't ask questions like that: it's the hygenist I feel uncomfortable with!
